FULL DAY VISIT: CORCOVADO AND SUGAR LOAF

Spend a morning taking advantage of some of the main tourist spots in Rio de Janeiro. Start with a train ride to see Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado hill, followed by a panoramic (external) visit to the Maracanã stadium and additional stops at the Metropolitan Cathedral. Lunch at Churrascaria 300 years ago, the barbecue began in the south of the country. The barbecue at that time was made only by experts, who transmitted the knowledge to their children and grandchildren. Since then, almost nothing has changed. We brought all the barbecue ritual and the ancestral knowledge of the BBQ (drinks not included)
After lunch, visit the Sugarloaf Mountain, one of the icons of the wonderful city of Rio, located in the Urca neighborhood. Take the cable car up to the top of the mountain in 2 stages: first at Cerro de Urca (224 meters); and continuing to the top of the Sugar Loaf (396 meters). Finish with the most beautiful and panoramic view of the city of Rio de Janeiro.

BY NIGHT: SAMBA SCHOOL PARADE - THE BEST SHOW ON EARTH! (Breakfast at the hotel.)
The samba school parade at the Rio Sambadrome (samba stadium) is something that everyone must have experienced at least once in their life! The parade is divided into two days: with the presentation of 6 samba schools each day. There is the option to go to the parade for 01 or 02 nights. Usually, the parade starts around 9pm and continues through the night. Each samba school has a minimum of 65 minutes and a maximum of 80 minutes for its parade. The parade, in addition to the show, is a competition between schools and various aspects are judged - The following Wednesday the Carnival Champion is announced ... the winners' parade will beon Saturday, March 08th
GRANDSTAND ENTRANCE FEE - INCLUDED (SUBJECT TO AVAILABIITY)
The Grandstands (also known as “arquibancadas”) are large concrete steps, located at the highest part of the Sambadrome, with an incredible aerial view of the parade. The tickets for the grandstand are the best value for money of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival and the location at the top gives an excellent perspective of the samba school. Grandstand tickets are not numbered on sector 7 and 11. On sector 9, they are numbered: we will confirm your tickets according to availability, it could be sector 9, 7 or 11.
NOTE: SAMBODROMO MAP DIVIDED BY SECTOR:
Carnival entrance Regulations state that reservations will only be guaranteed when 100% of the ticket cost has
been paid. The only guarantee of a passenger’s space on the carnival is the nonrefundable purchase of the ticket.
Therefore, Next Holidays Travel can only guarantee a space through 100% payment of these tickets if such
vacancies are still available

Front Boxes (also known as “frisas”) are chairs inside small boxes with fences, very close to the parade, in four rows of boxes, from A to D. Row A is closest to the runway and row D is the farthest. The Front Boxes offer the most privileged view of the Sambadrome parades. Each Front Box can accommodate up to 6 people (perfect for your group), but all tickets are sold per person, so you can buy a single ticket and then join five other people that you will meet in your box. (If you were interested , kindly ask the supplement to your travel executive).

Ash Wednesday, which is the beginning of Lent. Basically, the forms and manifestations of the carnival in Rio de
Janeiro, nowadays, are divided into: Parades of Samba Schools, Street Carnival, and Dances.
