Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Kochi, affectionately known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea." Upon your arrival at Kochi International Airport, you will be transferred to Munnar. Situated 1,800 meters above sea level, Munnar is also home to South India's highest peak, Anamudi (2,695 meters). On the way, visit the Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls and enjoy the scenic tea plantations. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, take a short tour of Munnar town, including visits to the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothenmedu Viewpoint, and Blossom Park. You will be surrounded by lush green tea estates, creating a truly picturesque landscape. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 2

After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit Rajamala (Eravikulam National Park, open as per the directions of the forest authorities). Once a hunting preserve for British planters, the park now exemplifies wildlife at its best. It was declared a sanctuary in 1975 with the aim of protecting the indigenous population of Nilgiri Tahr. The park is the best place to see the Nilgiri Tahr and the Himalayan goat, known as Hemitragus hylocrius, native to South India. Overnight stay at Munnar

Day 3

After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. You can enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary (entrance fee and boat ride are on a direct payment basis). Note: Please carry a photo ID proof for the Periyar boat ride. Periyar National Park, also known as Periyar Tiger Reserve, is located in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers, a significant population of elephants, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards, and Indian bison. To the north of the park, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. Further north, spice plantations surround the town of Kumily. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 4

After breakfast at the hotel in Thekkady, proceed for a morning drive to the idyllic backwaters of Alleppey, one of the most popular backwater destinations in India. Alleppey, also lovingly known as the "Venice of the East," is an integral part of God's Own Country, Kerala. It is renowned for its vast network of interlinking, palm- fringed backwater canals and the houseboats that cruise through them. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Take some time to rest, relax, and unwind .evening is free for leisure Overnight stay in Alleppey.

Day 5

You can explore the beautiful beaches and visit local villages, engaging with the locals to experience their culture. You may even have the opportunity to participate in a traditional cooking class or craft workshop. You can also visit Vembanad Lake, a large lake in Kerala known for its backwater tourism, boating, and wildlife. Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the lake before proceeding to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Alleppey.

Day 6

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kochi Airport for your onward journey
