Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to the majestic city of Istanbul, the bridge between two continents – Europe and Asia! Upon arrival at Istanbul International Airport, you will be welcomed by our friendly local tour guide and transferred to your hotel (standard check-in time: 14:00–15:00). Later in the afternoon, embark on a walking tour of Istiklal Street, the beating heart of modern Istanbul. Explore Pera and Galata districts, marvel at the Galata Tower (exterior), stroll past historic European-style buildings, embassies, old churches, charming arcades, and lively cafés. Sample traditional Turkish desserts or sip local coffee in a street-side café. In the evening, experience the magical Bosphorus Dinner Cruise – enjoy a delightful evening aboard a boat sailing between Europe and Asia, with traditional Turkish performances including belly dancing, folk shows, and a delicious multi-course Turkish dinner. Return to hotel after the cruise. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 2

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day guided exploration of Istanbul’s rich Ottoman and Byzantine heritage. Begin at the Hippodrome Square, the ancient chariot-racing arena, and see its prominent monuments: The Obelisk of Theodosius, The Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Next, step inside the grand Blue Mosque, one of the most iconic landmarks of Istanbul, known for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and six majestic minarets. Continue for an outside visit to the legendary Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque – once a church, then a mosque, then a museum, and now a mosque again – a place steeped in history, spirituality, and architectural grandeur. Enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). Post lunch, head to Ali Pasazade Bazaar, a charming local market where you can shop for aromatic spices, Turkish coffee, teas, evil eye charms, hand-painted ceramics, and more – perfect for souvenirs! Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Istanbul. Tip: Ladies are kindly requested to carry a headscarf for entry into mosques
Day 3

Start your day with a hearty breakfast, then head off to discover the colorful and historic Balat & Fener neighborhoods, once home to Orthodox Greeks, Armenians, and Jewish communities. Admire the Ottoman wooden houses, cobbled streets, vibrant wall murals, and religious sites that tell the story of Istanbul’s multi-cultural past. Then we proceed to the Pierre Loti Hill, named after the famous French novelist. Take the cable car or walk up the scenic path and enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Golden Horn. The hilltop café is a perfect place to relax and absorb the city’s serene charm while sipping traditional Turkish tea. Later in the afternoon, indulge in a shopping tour, where you can grab last-minute gifts or keepsakes such as Turkish sweets, olive oil soaps, handcrafted jewelry, or embroidered textiles. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Istanbul.
Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy free time at leisure for final packing or exploring nearby sights on your own.Standard check-out from the hotel is at 12:00 PM. Luggage will be securely stored in the coach.
