After breakfast, proceed for a full-day guided exploration of Istanbul’s rich Ottoman and
Byzantine heritage.
Begin at the Hippodrome Square, the ancient
chariot-racing arena, and see its prominent
monuments: The Obelisk of Theodosius, The
Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.
Next, step inside the grand Blue Mosque, one of the
most iconic landmarks of Istanbul, known for its stunning blue Iznik tiles and six majestic
minarets.
Continue for an outside visit to the legendary Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque – once a church,
then a mosque, then a museum, and now a mosque
again – a place steeped in history, spirituality, and
architectural grandeur.
Enjoy free time for lunch at a local restaurant (own
expense).
Post lunch, head to Ali Pasazade Bazaar, a charming
local market where you can shop for aromatic spices, Turkish coffee, teas, evil eye charms,
hand-painted ceramics, and more – perfect for souvenirs!
Return to the hotel in the evening.
Overnight stay in Istanbul.
