The food was one of the unexpected highlights of our Georgia trip. We tried different Georgian dishes almost every day, and the local bread became a favourite. Between that and the mountain scenery, there was plenty to remember from the trip.
We went with our parents, so we were slightly worried about having too many activities. Thankfully, the trip had a good mix. Tbilisi was easy to explore, while Kazbegi gave us some beautiful scenery without spending the entire holiday in the city.
Our family trip to Kazakhstan was mostly about seeing snow, and the kids were thrilled from the moment we reached Shymbulak. They enjoyed playing in the snow more than anything else we had planned.
We went during the National Day holiday and wanted somewhere that actually felt different from the UAE. Kazakhstan definitely delivered on that. The snow, cold air and mountain scenery made it feel like a proper winter escape.
