Itinerary

Day 1

Upon arrival in Yrevan, meet our representative at airport. You will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in to the hotel and get ready to spend your day visiting Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery. Overnight stay in Yerevan

Garni Temple: Situated in the village of Garni, this ancient pagan temple is dedicated to Mihr, the Sun God. Constructed in the 1st century AD under King Tiridates I, it exemplifies classical Hellenistic architecture in Armenia. The temple is celebrated for its grand stone columns and its breathtaking position on a cliff that overlooks the Azat River Gorge.

Geghard Monastery: Located approximately 8 kilometers from Garni, the Geghard Monastery is a medieval complex hewn into the cliffs of the Azat River Gorge. Founded in the 4th century, it is renowned for its rock-cut churches and tombs, set against a breathtaking natural backdrop. Named after the "Holy Spear" (Geghard) that, according to legend, was used to wound Christ during his crucifixion, this site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important pilgrimage destination in Armenia.

Day 2

Wake up early in the morning for your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, get ready for a fun filled day and embark on a day trip and admire the Kecharis Monastery in Tsaghkadzor, then proceed to Lake Sevan to explore the medieval Sevanavank Monastery. Take a ride on the ropeway to enjoy the mountainous view of Tsaghkadzor. Overnight stay in Yerevan

Kecharis Monastery: Situated in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia, is an 11th-century historic complex renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture. Set against the scenic backdrop of Tsaghkadzor, the monastery includes a series of churches and chapels adorned with detailed carvings and stonework. It was a vital religious and cultural hub during the medieval era and continues to be a key destination for those exploring Armenia's rich historical heritage

Lake Sevan: Often called the "Jewel of Armenia," Lake Sevan is one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Positioned at 1,900 meters above sea level, it is celebrated for its striking blue waters and picturesque mountainous backdrop. The lake is a favored destination for both relaxation and a variety of outdoor activities

Sevanavank Monastery: Perched on a peninsula overlooking Lake Sevan, the Sevanavank Monastery is a historic complex founded in the 9th century. It provides sweeping views of the lake and its tranquil surroundings. Renowned for its ancient church buildings and rich cultural and religious significance, the monastery is a must-visit site for those exploring Armenia.

Day 3

Wake up early in the morning for your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, and embark on a full day tour. Today's itinerary features stops at Khor Virap Monastery, Areni Birdcave, and Noravank Monastery, nestled within the dramatic Noravank Canyon. At Khor Virap, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at and photograph the stunning view of Mount Ararat, a cherished national symbol of Armenia. After that, you'll visit the Areni bird cave.
