Rose Bay We continue our tour of Sydney, travelling through the affluent Eastern Suburbs of Double Bay, Rose Bay, Point Piper and Watsons Bay, viewing grand houses with dazzling harbour views. We make several stops for photo opportunities, including a panoramic view of the city skyline. There is time a short walk at Watsons Bay (time and weather permitting) to see the entrance to the harbour from the Pacific Ocean, before heading south to Bondi Beach.
Bondi Beach dig your toes into the soft sand of Australia's most famous beach, or stroll the beach promenade and watch Aussie surfers riding waves. You will have 30 minutes at leisure here.
Centennial Park We take a drive through one of Sydney's most popular public parks, where Sydney-siders gather and meet socially or for recreational sport, and exercise. Learn about the creation of this park and its importance. See the many varieties of bird-life around the lakes. The Park is only open during daylight hours, and begins closing just before sunset.
On our drive to Darling Harbour, we pass through China Town and Sydney's early market district. We stop at Darling Harbour, and learn of its early purpose, and how it has been transformed into an entertainment district, with many nice restaurants perched on the edge of the water.
