Wake up early in the morning for breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, get ready for your full day trip of Amman city and desert castles. Amman is surrounded by centuries-old Umayyad-built historical sites, but reaching Jordan’s “Desert Castles” can be challenging using public transportation. This private, full-day tour includes visits to Kharana Palace, Amra Palace, and Al-Azraq Castle, as well as top attractions within Amman, such as the Roman amphitheater. Hotel transfers are included.
Roman Theatre: Visiting the Roman Theatre is like traveling 2,000 years back in time. This ancient amphitheater once accommodated over 5,000 spectators and is still used today for theater events.
The Citadel: The Citadel of Amman is an excellent starting point for exploring the city's archaeological sites. This site of ancient Rabbath-Ammon has yielded numerous Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic remains through excavations. Perched on a hill, it offers visitors a glimpse into the city's rich history and provides stunning views of the entire area. Among the many remarkable places to visit in Amman, the Citadel holds several points of specific interest.
Qasr Al-Harranah: Qasr Kharana sparks much curiosity, as it resembles a castle yet shows no signs of ever being used for defense. Unlike typical fortresses, its towers are solid, and the arrow slits are too high to be functional. This unique construction has intrigued historians and draws visitors from around the world each year to see this distinctive desert castle.
Quseir Amra: Qasr Amra, situated beside Wadi Al-Butum on the north side of Jordan’s Highway 40, is approximately 85 km from Amman and 21 km southwest of Al-Azraq. It is a beautiful place to visit.

The tour includes private round-trip transportation with pickup and drop-off at your Amman hotel. Admission fees and local guides at the sites are at your own expense.
Archaeological Museum of Umm Qais: Umm Qais, or Qays, is a town in northern Jordan known primarily for its proximity to the ruins of ancient Gadara, a former bishopric and a current Latin Catholic titular see.
Ajlun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad): Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century Muslim fortress, is located in northwestern Jordan. Perched on a hilltop in the Jabal Ajlun district, it is also known as Jabal 'Auf, named after a Bedouin tribe that captured the area in the 12th century.
Jerash Ruins: Jerash, a city in Jordan north of the capital
Amman, has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. It is renowned
for the ruins of the ancient walled Greco-Roman city of Gerasa,
located just outside the modern city. Key attractions include the
2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the
Temple of Artemis, and the vast oval colonnade of the Forum.
The Jerash Archaeological Museum showcases artifacts excavated from the site.

Upon arrival, you'll start your journey on horseback to the canyon and the Siq, then continue on foot to the stunning Treasury. Combine visits to two sacred sites with a classic Dead Sea photo opportunity and lunch with a view on this private door-to-door day tour. Explore Madaba and the Mosaic Map, visit Mt. Nebo, where some believe Moses first glimpsed the Holy Land, and enjoy time at the Dead Sea.
St. George's Church: The Church harbors a significant treasure of early Christianity. Imagine the excitement in 1884 when Christian builders uncovered the remnants of a Byzantine church at their construction site. Among the rubble, they discovered not just any mosaic but the oldest map of Palestine in existence, surviving destruction, fire, and neglect. This mosaic continues to offer valuable historical insights into the region.
Mount Nebo: The second stop is the La Storia Tourism Complex on Mount Nebo. Visitors will spend 2 hours exploring the museum, which offers insights into the religious history of Mount Nebo and the surrounding area. Currently, the museum is working on an ambitious project to create the world's largest mosaic, measuring 30 meters long and consisting of 3.5 million pieces. This mosaic will illustrate the entire route of the King’s Highway, and visitors can participate by adding a piece to the mosaic. Additionally, the museum provides a range of workshops for visitors of all ages.
Dead Sea: The Dead Sea is a breathtaking natural wonder, ideal for both religious tourism and family fun under the sun. Combining beach relaxation with rich religious history, visitors can enjoy the warm, soothing, and extremely salty water, which is about ten times saltier than ordinary sea water.
