Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present.
Upon your arrival at Helsinki Airport, you will have a private transfer to the hotel. Please be informed that the standard check-in time is 1500 hrs and early check-in is purely at the discretion of the hotel. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can opt for a 3-Hours Small Group.
Guided Evening Sailing in Front of Helsinki tour (Optional) to explore the beauty of Helsinki by
sea at sunset with a unique route and awesome spirit. You will pass by near the majestic
Icebreaker fleet of Finland which is parked in front of the military headquarters of Helsinki.
Also, the zoo of Helsinki (Korkeasaari) is passed by Kaivopuisto Park is Helsinki's main park for all
sorts of events and people gatherings. You will pass by a famous public sauna in Hernesaari called
Löyly. The design of this building is unique and has been awarded internationally. You will go
around Pihjalasaari. Pihlajasaari is Helsinki's Riviera with a sandy beach and pretty dressing rooms.
There are also restaurants, saunas, and cliffs where locals and tourists spend time enjoying the sun and picnics. You sail in front of Suomenlinna, an 18th-century sea fortress and nature area
with centuries-old artillery and defensive walls, spread across 6 linked islands. There's also a
brewery and several waterside restaurants. We sail in front of Vallisaari. It is located between
Suomenlinna and Santahamina. The island has some ponds, and it was first known for hundreds
of years as a place where sailors could take fresh water. Overnight in Helsinki.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will discover the hidden gems of the city in a half-day (approx. 3 hours) tour. The tour allows you to visit Helsinki's main attractions, including Sibelius Monument, Esplanade Park, Old Market Hall, Market Square, Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral, Senate Square, Temppeliaukio/Rock Church, Havis Amanda and Helsinki Cathedral, etc. along with photo stops. Post breakfast at the hotel, you will check out from Helsinki and proceed to the airport in a private transfer for your onward destination to Rovaniemi (Flight Cost / Train cost is not included) Welcome to Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland. Rovaniemi is an urban city surrounded by arctic nature, where Lappish culture and a wide range of activities meet. In Rovaniemi, you can visit Santa Claus and cross the Arctic Circle every day of the year! Upon your arrival at Ivalo Airport, you will have a private transfer to the hotel selected. Check-in procedures or room allocation will be as per hotel norms and discretion.
Enter the Arctic - In the Arctic, there are bigger cities than Rovaniemi, but none in direct proximity to the Arctic Circle. In Rovaniemi, the Arctic Circle runs through Santa Claus Village, located eight kilometers north of the city center, where it is marked.

Snowmobile, Arctic Animals, and Santa Village - Family Day [Duration 6hrs // 09:30 am] Snowmobiling in the wilderness and playing with the snow is already an experience itself, but this safari also takes you to meet reindeer and husky dogs. You will hear information about these beautiful animals at both farms and enjoy a short ride (500 m) in a reindeer farm and 2 km of in the husky farm. The energy and joy of husky dogs, who are born to run, is difficult to describe - you must see for yourself! Petting animals is also possible.
This excursion is suited for everybody, but a driving license is required to drive a snowmobile. Children and adults without valid driver’s licenses can join the safari comfortably seated on a sledge behind the snowmobile. Once you are back from the farm visits, you will have some free time to explore Santa Claus Village. You will be able to experience the Christmas atmosphere, cross the Arctic Circle, meet Santa Claus, visit the Post office and do gift shopping. Later in the evening by 2100 hrs, begin the hunt of the Northern Lights. You may find it difficult to sleep in Lapland with all the beautiful Northern Lights. So you might as well stay awake joining this Northern Lights tour! Come and search for the spectacular phenomenon of nature to the best spotting places in Lapland!

The locations visited differ from day to day, but you will head in the direction with the most chance of seeing Polar Lights at work, using their experience, the tour guide will decide where to lead the tour to have the best chance of spotting the Aurora Borealis. You’ll not only be in search of the magnificent northern lights, but you’ll also be able to see some of the constellations of stars if the weather is clear! The Northern Lights search takes place in Lapland, in the middle of the Northern Lights belt. This spectacular natural phenomenon can be witnessed at any time from the autumn darkness to spring. You may find it difficult to sleep in Lapland with all the beautiful Northern Lights. Post breakfast, the day is free for leisure or optional activity. If you wish you can opt for a Day tour to Ranua Wildlife Park - Visit the Arctic Animals! Day trip to Ranua Wildlife Park to see Polar Beers and 200 Arctic species! If encountering a bear roaming free in nature doesn’t sound tempting, this 2.5 km walk in the magical forest will allow you to meet many animals that can be found in the Arctic’s!
After pickup from the accommodation, you will be driven to Ranua Wildlife Park. Located approximately an hour’s drive away, Ranua Zoo is home to around 50 species of wild arctic animals and 200 animal specimens. All animals live in an environment that is as natural and arctic as possible, which guarantees that the animals feel at home!
The excursion suits the whole family. Ranua Zoo is Lapland’s leading destination for family
traveling. There are also some sleds available for smaller children, in case they get tired of walking.
