Itinerary

Day 1

Early this morning in Kampala you will be met by one of our company representatives. They will greet you and get you ready to begin your journey with us. Transfer by Road, Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National the moment you've been waiting for has finally arrived: this is when your Ugandan safari begins. After a few brief formalities and an introduction to your guide, we'll start this journey together and begin to discover all of the amazing animals Uganda has to offer You don't need to stray far off the beaten path in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to understand how Uganda's premier gorilla-tracking destination acquired its English name. The steep slopes and dense substrata of ferns and shrubs in this magnificent highland forest can make for challenging walking conditions. Fortunately, the park has a good network of footpaths allowing you to look for its diverse wildlife, not only mountain gorillas but also 10 other primate, six forest antelope, 350 bird and 200-plus butterfly species Kampala - Kampala Slopes dominate the capital Kampala, which extends north from Lake Victoria across a landscape of rolling hills and fertile valleys
Day 2

Lake Bunyonyi Dammed by a lava flow 8,000 years ago, Bunyonyi is a flooded river valley that extends for 25km from north to south but is nowhere more than 5km wide. The absence of hippos and crocodiles means swimming is safe; it’s also resulted in an unusually dense population of otters, which are often seen from the shore. A great beach chill-out destination, Bunyonyi also offers plenty of walking and kayaking opportunities to keep active travelers busy

Mountain Gorilla Trekking - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park When you go mountain gorilla trekking, you'll hike through the forest and then spend time in the presence of these remarkable and soulful family groups. The walking can be strenuous, but you'll never forget your experience here

Canoeing, Lake Bunyonyi - On our canoeing excursion, you’ll enjoy so many safari experiences that you just can’t get in a vehicle watch animals come down to drink, enjoy the birds that draw near to water, and feel the cool breeze on your face as you drift along at a canoe’s slow rhythm.

Day 3

We interrupt the long journey with a visit to the Igongo Cultural Center. As your safari in Uganda ends, it's time to look back on your trip with us and enjoy the incredible memories we're sure you have. Transfer by Road, Lake Bunyonyi via Igongo Cultural Centre to Kampala
