What is the Dhs10 Dining Deal in Dubai
The Dhs10 dining deal, also called the 10-Dirham Dish, is a yearly food promotion run during Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS). DSS 2026 runs from early July to Sunday, August 30, 2026, and it covers shopping, entertainment, and dining offers across the city.
The Dhs10 dish part of DSS runs from Monday, August 3, 2026, to Sunday, August 30, 2026. During these four weeks, each participating restaurant picks one dish or treat from its menu and sells it for a flat price of Dhs10, no matter what it normally costs.
The event is organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the government body that runs Dubai's major shopping and dining festivals. More than 170 restaurants across over 700 locations in Dubai are taking part this year. Time Out Dubai has already published a list of 149 confirmed Dhs10 dishes from more than 100 restaurants, and more outlets keep joining as the month goes on. That is where the 150+ dishes in this guide's title come from.
The idea is simple. Dubai dining can get expensive fast, so this deal gives residents and visitors a low-cost reason to try new restaurants, treat themselves after work, or add a snack stop to a mall visit, without planning a full meal out.

What Can You Get for Dhs 10?
Each restaurant chooses its own Dhs10 item, so the deal is not one fixed menu. It is 170-plus separate small offers spread across the city. Based on the outlets confirmed for 2026 and the pattern from past years, here is what Dhs10 usually buys you:
- A single dish, snack, or dessert, not a full meal or combo.
- Asian bites such as noodles, dumplings, sushi rolls, or bao buns.
- A sandwich or bakery item, sometimes paired with a coffee.
- Ice cream, gelato, or a chocolate-based dessert.
- A Middle Eastern or South Asian dish, depending on the outlet.
- A drink-and-snack combo at some cafés.
For example, Café Barbera is offering two scoops of Italian gelato for Dhs10 this year. In past editions of this deal, Pret A Manger sold a sandwich with an Americano coffee for Dhs10, and outlets like Golden Dragon and Moshi offered items such as steamed dumplings and dessert sushi rolls at the same price. The exact 2026 dish at each outlet may differ, so always check the outlet's current offer before you go, since menus and participating dishes can change during the month.
One thing to keep in mind: this is one specific item per restaurant, not a discount on the whole menu. If you order extra food or drinks alongside it, those items are charged at normal price.

Where to Find the Dhs10 Dining Deal in Dubai
The full and updated list of restaurants and their Dhs10 dishes is published on District by Zomato, which is the official listing partner for this campaign. You can check it on the district app or website. The same information is also available on the official Dubai Summer Surprises website, mydss.ae, and on Visit Dubai's page for the 10-Dirham Dish.
The district app is the most useful tool here because it shows you which Dhs10 deal is available nearest to your current location, so you do not have to search restaurant by restaurant.
Confirmed participating brands for 2026 include The Noodle House, Sumo Sushi & Bento, Shake Shack, Pret A Manger, Feka, Baskin Robbins, Cold Stone Creamery, Shanghai Kitchen, Seoul Street Café, and Café Barbera, along with many independent neighbourhood restaurants. Participating outlets are spread across malls such as Al Ghurair Centre, Dubai Festival City Mall, Deira City Centre, and Palm Jumeirah Mall, as well as standalone restaurants in areas like Karama, Oud Metha, and International City, which are known for having a high number of budget-friendly kitchens.

There is no single fixed time slot for this deal across the city. Each restaurant serves its Dhs10 dish during its own normal opening hours, all through the 3 to 30 August 2026 window. Some outlets may limit the deal to certain hours, such as lunch or early evening, so it is worth checking the outlet's listing on District by Zomato before you visit, especially for popular items that tend to sell out.

How to Get the AED10 Dining Deal?
Using the deal is simple by design. You do not need to sign up for anything in advance.
- Open the District by Zomato app or website, or visit mydss.ae, and search for the outlet or area you want.
- Confirm the outlet's Dhs10 dish for August 2026, since it may differ from last year's offer.
- Walk into the restaurant during its normal opening hours.
- Ask the staff directly for the Dhs10 dish or the 10-Dirham Dish.
- Pay Dhs10 for that specific item. No voucher, discount code, or booking is required for the core deal.
- If you want extra food or drinks, those are charged separately at the outlet's normal prices.
Because no booking is needed, popular items can run out during busy hours, especially at lunch, right after work, and during weekend mall visits. Going earlier in the day or on a weekday generally means shorter queues.
