The best travel agency in Dubai has listed 11 places to see Diwali lights, celebrate with family, and enjoy day and night activities. Diwali is on Sunday, 8 November 2026, and the Festival of Lights runs from 2 to 12 November. Dates for some events, such as fireworks, may be announced later.

Places to Visit in Dubai at Night During Diwali
1. Souk Al Seef
Festival of Lights takes place from November 6 to November 8, 2026, at Souk Al Seef, next to Dubai Creek. The festival will include musical performances, dance performances, storytelling, parades, and stand-up comedy shows. Family-friendly activities include rangoli workshops and drumming circles. Fireworks performance is part of the program. Exact timings are subject to change, so please refer to the schedule before visiting.
2. Global Village
Global Village is a good Diwali stop for families. The India Pavilion has Indian handicrafts, jewellery and food in one place, and the park has stage shows and fireworks. Past seasons had Diwali fireworks and stage performances. Season 31 is open from 14 October 2026 to May 2027. Dates for the 2026 Diwali celebration have not been released yet, so check the Global Village website before you plan. Season 31 ticket prices are not available yet.
3. Dubai Festival City Mall
Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City Mall is a good evening stop for families. The free IMAGINE show uses water, light, fire and lasers on the Creek waterfront. You can have dinner at the waterfront restaurants and watch the show together. Check the Dubai Festival City Mall website for Diwali events and timings.
4. Dubai Creek Dhow Cruise
A dinner at Dhow Cruise at Dubai Creek lets you eat on the water and see the city lights. It suits families and groups. Diwali is on Sunday, 8 November 2026, so book your cruise early to get the time you want.
5. Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa
Dubai downtown is another place where you can enjoy night views of Dubai. The Dubai Fountain puts up its show every evening at the Dubai Mall Waterfront Promenade. The Burj Khalifa building has light shows during important holidays, we request to check the dates and timings before making any plan.

7. Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai
Meena Bazaar is an active marketplace in the neighbourhood of Al Fahidi, and here you will get Indian dresses, jewellery, diyas, and sweets in small streets. The prices are not very high, and here you can bargain easily.

8. Community Diwali Celebrations
Dubai Holding Community Management is hosting Diwali events in many neighbourhoods from 1 to 8 November 2026. Most events run from 4 pm to 8 pm and include rangoli and lantern displays, cultural performances and music, festive sweets and photo booths.
- Al Furjan: Sunday, 1 November 2026, at Al Furjan Community Park.
- Villanova: Saturday, 7 November 2026, at the Community Park, Street of Dreams.
- Discovery Gardens: Sunday, 8 November 2026, at the lawn next to Building 207.

9. Aquaventure Waterpark
Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis, The Palm, is part of Aquaventure World. November weather is mild, so it is a good daytime plan before the evening Diwali events. Families can try rides such as Poseidon's Revenge and Leap of Faith. The park opens daily from 10 am. Check the hours and book tickets before your visit.
10. IMG Worlds of Adventure
IMG Worlds of Adventure is an indoor theme park featuring Marvel and Cartoon Network areas. Because the rides are indoors, it works on any day of your Diwali trip. Families can also try the Haunted Hotel attraction. Check the opening hours before your visit.
